The roots of Buckleys Brewery trace back to 1767, where, under the ownership of Henry Child, a prominent Methodist, the company began to brew beer in Llanelli. The Reverend James Buckley later took on the serious development of the brewery after his marriage to Child's daughter, Maria. The Rev. James is named after the founder of Buckleys Brewery. A traditional centuries old recipe is followed to brew this premium ale, now proving to be a highly desirable 'guest' throughout the UK.
Full bodied and warming, rich in palate, spicy and aromatic with a deeply satisfying finish. This premium ale has been described as having a "classic" flavour not commonly available these days.
